Hi - The Center for Irish Music is putting on our 2nd Annual Young Irish Musicians Weekend June 20-22, 2008 in St Paul, Minnesota. This year’s artists include Liz Carroll, Dermot & Tara Diamond, Tommy Martin and Daithi Sproule. You’d probably all be most intersted in Tommy Martin!
Courses are geared toward intermediate & advanced students under 25. New this year: classes for beginning kids.
AND in conjunction with the YIM, we will also have classes for ADULT students throughout the weekend with the master artists. More info on our website!

The Friday adult programming fee is $85. That includes the class with Tommy Martin, Tunes & Songs from Northern Ireland with Dáithí Sproule, Tara & Dermot Diamond, and the evening Hooley / Reception!

Hi Pipers! We have LOTS of fiddle registrations for this workshop series - PIPES NEED TO REPRESENT! Amongst a whole weekend of great craic, we are featuring an uilleann pipe workshop from 12-4 on Friday June 20 with Tommy Martin. Cost is only $85 for this single event and includes entry to Friday night hooley/party/reception/jam session. Or register for the entire weekend, June 20-22. Still plenty of time to register. Let’s not let those fiddlers beat us in numbers!
Classes are available on all instruments for adults of all levels and genres, intermediate and advanced youth under 25, and beginner kids entering grades 2-8.
