mmmm… How old are the m&e R&R’s? I’ve heard he made a stardard model in the past, an then turn into these R&R.. but i would know when it happened.
i’m planing to buy a M&E R&R from a french store… i would contact in the future with mr cronolly in case of damage or addin keys… ??

He used to offer both models for sale. I believe he stopped offerng the Standard sometime last year, maybe '04.
For what it’s worth, I contacted him a few months ago and, at that time, he said he would still make the old “standard” model upon request (same for the split embouchure). I got the impression that he still believed in the old version, but the market was clamoring for the R&R.
