Almost as amazing is the fact that some guy was standing in that, getting pelted by ash, and his first thought wasn’t, “I’m going to look like those excavated bones from Mt. Vesuvius!” it was, “Oh wow. Take a picture!”
Reminds me of the scientist whose dream was to design a canoe for riding a lava wave. I think he died from it. Volcanoes are scary things to me!
