Does anyone know of recordings of the two tunes played by Paddy Maloney at ground zero as told by DW in this weeks C&F ? Their names are “Táimse 'imo Chodladh” and “Dochas”. The latter can be found in ABC format at JC’s ABC tunefinder. Thanks, Bill Hennessey
I’m looking for them too, Bill. If you find them, please let me know, and I’ll do the same.
The first tune was recorded by Planxty on ‘the woman I loved so well’ Bill Flynn with Bill Whelan on the synthesiser. If memory serves me well.
Another recording exists of the late Dan O Dowd playing the tune on a fundraiser LP recently reissued.

The first one is on The Chieftains “The Celtic Harp”, and the second is on “Chieftains 7”.
