I admit it. When my husband, who is not over fond of ladder-climbing, was putting storm windows on our second floor windows, I thought it was my duty to take one up the ladder and put it on if he had to do it. They weren’t heavy at all. I was rather saddened to find that I could only get about 3/4 of the way up. I just can’t stand the height and the bouncing of the ladder. Cats up trees are a big problem for me too. I did sincerely try to change the oil in my car once, but I simply could not stand getting under the car and not being able to move my head up or down. What if something happened and I had to get out quick? But this is really a whole different issue from not reading instructions!
