Toronto Tionol

Is anyone (besides me) going to the Tionol in Toronto this weekend? That’s the 17th to the 19th, only $70.00 CDN, which is about $12 American or about 1/100,000 of a pound.

It’d be interesting to meet some of You Whom Have Spake Unto Me. I’ll be the one in the leather jacket, with the a-tional set of pipes. (Sorry, couldn’t resist the pun.)

I’ll be in YYZ (Toronto) this weekend and am hoping to take in some of the events. Maybe have chat over a Guiness?

Yes - I can’t wait to see Harry Bradley, Cillian Vallely and Tommy Peoples!! Should be an amazing event! $70 Canadian is worth at least 3 or 4 dollars, so expect to have a few pints (they’d be about ¢15 per quaff)!

See you there!

All monetary amounts mentioned may not be completely accurate!

All,

As a resident Torontonian, I will be around all weekend and available to guide people to Pubs, Breakfast Spots, Scenery and Shopping.

Cheers,

Virgil

Virgil,

What are the nearest subway stops to the venues and directions from there?

Thanks in advance!

The closest Subway station to the Tranzac is “Bathurst” on the Bloor line (the major subway line that goes East-West in Toronto). Get off at Bathurst station, exit, and find your way to Bloor St. Walk East (if you are not sure which way South is, Look for the CN Tower-big pointy tower) until you get to Brunswick. Hang a right and walk about 30 paces and you will see the Tranzac on your right.
