thought this definately would be worth a mention (concern. T

Hi guys, some weeks ago I ordered 5 standard (non-tunable)whistles thru Tony Dixon: D, C, Bb, F, and a lowD.
He sent them on a Monday, I got them on the following Friday, and, here it comes:
he delivered tunable whistles (all but the lowD) and charged me for the price of non-tunable, he asked me “if that’s ok by me”.
Great guy, thanks Tony.

I agree amar. Every dealing I’ve had with Tony has been great. I just got a new brass tuning slide model today.

Happy Whistling

Dlambert, how much did that cost you in US, shipped? Do you plan on posting a review and/or comparing it to a regular PVC Dixon, if you have one?

Yes, PLEASE post a review. I want to get a Dixon soon.

Just a few days ago, I received a Dixon low-G that I ordered from the Whistle Shop, and I love it! The second octave is loud, but not overpowering, and you don’t have to blow your brains out to get to it. In addition, even the notes between the scale notes are easily reached either by half-holing or by cross-fingering. IMHO, it’s simply a great all-around tube!
