Nice to see the black monoliths are still around. 
Some pictures are too mind-boggling to mess with, and for me this is one of them.
In fact it reminds me of religious art…

Or-- how about a mosaic–using lapis, turquoise and different shades of gold? and the stars could be tiny mirrors.
