You don’t see many of those being used. I saw a variant of one used by one of the “madams” in Memoirs of A Geisha. Then there’s the straight version favored by Hunter S Thompson.
Personally…I rather enjoy the feeling of a cigarette between my fingers…pipes, or pipe like devices, are best left to their appropriate forms of combustibles.

Looked like a store-bought cigarette to me. I don’t know, though.
Looked like a standard filter tipped cigarette. Makes the pipe kind of pointless as I always understood they were used instead of filters in the cigarette itself. Maybe he just doesn’t want his fingers to stink.
The beat box would be enough for me never to recommend the clip in question.

I was looking for a few videos to add to the YouTube Whistles group. When I looked, there were over 500 videos. I just looked again and it is up to 588! I didn’t want to include it if there was anything untoward going on, though.
I wouldn’t think smoking and playing a wind instrument are a good combination, no matter what kind of apparatus is used to do it.
