STRATHSPEY IN MAY photos......link

ErikT, GerryM, LucyD and anyone else who’s been or may go in the future…we’ve posted some festival photos from the weekend:
http://www.strathspeyinmay.com/gallery_2002.htm

I’m even in one of them !!
[Seán Potts’ class …I’m to his left, wearing a denim shirt and a stupid grin]

Classes all gave very good feedback..we’ll try to give you more of the same next year.

Boyd

I’ll post again when we get some new pix in the gallery.

Boyd.

Fun pictures, Boyd!

I’m in the Sarah Allen flute picture. That’s my knee that appears to be protruding from John Jacksons left arm. I’m going to have to write my mom and let her know that I’ve made it into an international publication

Erik

Good Man, Boyd!

I hadn’t realised there were so many workshops at SiM, that explains why I had a beautiful walk through the bilberry forest and along the River Spey each time to get to Angus’s house for the Bouzouki workshops. I’m the one carefully hidden behind the camera! We were playing ‘The Old Favourite’ at the time (or Rolling Waves, Bill Sullivan’s, Britches made of Stiches …)

Jimmy

We had 88 workshop participants this year.

We hope that part of the charm is sitting in someone’s front room rather than in an echoey hall.
By the way, I live just 70 yards from where your class was…beautiful wee spot, isn’t it?

Idyllic!

I too am in the Sarah Allen picture! The only one not playing - typical!! Caught me at just the wrong moment!

Gerry Thompson
