A friend’s concertina was stolen in San Francisco. Anyone on or near the west coast, please look out at pawn shops and/or online for a Frank Edgley concertina. Photos are above, and hopefully visible. (I guess you have to log in to facebook… sorry.)
facebook doesn’t want to show the pictures
and, odd as it may seem, San Francisco is considered northern Cal
Nico, can you or your friend add at least a basic description of the instrument and circumstances, contact info, etc.? We prefer not to have a listing here be completely dependent on another site, especially one that requires a login. Thanks!
Hey MTGuru,
At the time I had nothing else ![]()
The owner is Steven Agacinski and he says: “It was stolen from the trunk of my car, which was parked overnight in the city of San Francisco. Stupid San Francisco.”
As mentioned above, it is a Frank Edgely concertina. It’s a 30 button one, C/G, with light brown wood for the ends, metal face- / sound- plates, and black bellows.
I guess that’s all I have, now, but I’ve mentioned it to Steve and hopefully he’ll make the photos public.
Thank you!

Luckily the maker saw it on eBay and it has been returned to the proper owner. So all is well with this one!
