I got a chance to handle a couple of these 1/2 sets a week or so ago in Armagh.
I didn’t take the opportunity to play one of the sets myself but I did hear one (from across the room) played by Fred Morrison. It seemed as if everything was in the right place.
From a quality and workmanship standpoint they seemed to be nice. Not Quinn or Froment but not .
Apparently they have a factory that produces all sorts of pipes. (I’m seriously considering the Gaita - talk about chick magnets, if you can’t get a date as a Gaita player you are hopeless.)
but I digress-
Overall the buzz was that they were decent instruments and the factory owners seemed to be nice enough hombres to deal with.
