I’m wodering what folks are using to wrap joints with the thin cork..
ala:
Suppliers of Cork wrap, that’s one that comes up on the flute forum every now and again.
No point in suggesting thread wrap, is there? 
I buy from Dawkes.co.uk if I ever am convinced to use cork over thread joint lapping

I’ve found decent quality cork sheets at art/craft stores, as well as linoleum (floor) suppliers. BTW, you might want to do a different overlap/angle cut than the job on that cork in the photo. I have no problem with thread, either, assuming the tenon has been properly designed for it (ie: grooved).
