Some advice on Quenas and Quenachos please?

Hi

Would some of you experienced folk from this forum please offer advice on buying these quenas and quenacho on Ebay?

I know nothing about makers of these instruments (I’m a flute and whistle player) but have been invited to play with a local rondalla who play some S. American stuff in their repertoire.

I would hate to end up with the equivalent of the rubbish that people in the flute forum are warned off against buying on Ebay.

So, are these OK instruments, or just lightstands?

I just got a very nice quena from Erik the flute maker. Nicely in tune and beautiful tone. You can google him to get to his website.

Why dont you make one yourself?
If you understand German heresa very good toturial site.
If not, pm me, ill give you some advice and hints. #

If you do not want to make your own, Erik the flutemaker would be a good choice for USA.
