I always try to catch up on CBC news when I get home, and I read both the Star and the Globe this morning, and there wasn’t a word about a border closing…just Dolly the sheep…
That it Janice. There wasn’t a word about border closings in any of the papers.
There was a run on duct tape, plastic sheeting and propane for barbeque grills at our local Home Depot this week.
What I was wondering was this: once the doors and windows are sealed off with plastic and tape, how do you get outside to grill your food? Or if you’ve brought the grill inside (a bad idea if there ever was one), how do you vent out all the smoke now that the windows and doors are sealed?
Later on I heard a politician announce on the radio news that “New Jersey is prepared for any eventuality.” I feel lucky that I’m only a few miles over the border in New York. I can just jump in the car and head for Jersey when the s@#! hits the fan.

Coloman-where and who’d you play with?
Frank Edgely and his wife, of course. And (though not Canadian) Patrick Orceau. At somebody’s house in Plymouth, and then at the White Heather club. (may have been other Canadian musicians at the White Heather, I didn’t know everyone.)
