My “dark side” (i.e. non-wooden) has moved up, so I’m selling a very nice Buffet-Crampon (made in England) (Cooper scale) student-level flute with a C-foot. Plays very well and only has a couple of minor dings. Comes with a case and cleaning rod… I’m at work, so I can’t do pictures 'til later, but thought I’d put it “out there” for an early grabber. Looking for $75 including shipping to the CONUS.
Anyway, I’ve decided to donate the flute to my local high school instead of selling it (thanks for the suggestion, Cork), so it’s not for sale any longer.
In defence of Othannen…
He says he’s in Italy, maybe he’s even Italian ,and therefore maybe his meaning was lost in the translation…
Maybe even he’s a SHE
Just a thought …
Err how did you guys interpret my post? I can’t get it (btw yes, i’m italian, and not a girl )
I was just saying that the first thing i thought when i saw that title is that it was about someone that wanted some infos about the possibility of playing ITM on a silver flute (and there’s nothing wrong with that), and i didn’t think it was a commercial post…
Guys: As weedie says, please be aware that not everyone on the Chiffboard (or in the world) is a native speaker of English. Othannen was even nice enough to fill in his Location profile, as a big hint. So please cut some language slack.
Honestly, my reaction was the same as Othannen’s. I thought the topic was re. someone who is interested in playing ITM on the silver flute.
Very good point and apologies to Othannen for misinterpreting. I’m aware that he’s in Italy but his English (typing) is so good that it’s easy to forget sometimes.
And Pat, if you had posted this a few weeks ago I would have bought the flute and come over and picked it up in person. It would have been good to meet you. In any event it looks like the flute is going to a good home.
