As an unexpected but welcome part of our recent moves towards a more reliable situation for the server on which the forums are hosted, we will be moving to a new data center this weekend.
While this makes things better in the long term, it means that the forums will be unavailable for a short period this weekend while the server is physically moved to its new home.
Unfortunately I don’t know specific times for the move, but we’ll do our best to keep downtime to a minimum.
Seriously, I didn’t know exact times because it mostly involved starting whenever Petro arrived in Manhattan, and when he finished in the new place, and since both of those marked the start and end point of the downtime, it’s not like I could post them even if I knew them.
