Sad Day in the Concertina World - We Lost Rich Morse

Rich Morse was the leader and founder of the Button Box in Massachusetts. He also designed and built Morse Concertinas.

He died yesterday from a recurrence of cancer.

Concertina players around the world are shocked and saddened. This is a great loss.

Very sad. I bought my prized Aeola from Rich when the shop was still in downtown Amherst. In fact, it’ll be my main instrument at a St. Pat’s concert tomorrow, and I’ll dedicate a tune to him. A fine gentleman.
