romy benton for trade

i have a romy benton bamboo low d for trade. it is brownish reddish in hue and is in fine shape. info can be found at www.romyb.com

its a beautiful instrument. i have one w/o the lip plate. hoping to trade for flute of similar value.

please pm if interested.

Anybody know how much this would go for new?

When I contacted him he said $100 for a basic D flute, but closer to $200 if I wanted the full musical potential of one of his flutes. This was with a lip plate, which I assume might be one of the more time consuming pieces.

Anybody know if his D flutes are in tune?
Externally, internally?
Can they be fingered?

sorry i don’t have more info on this flute…since i don’t, i’m willing to do a reversable trade, meaning that if the benton isn’t to your liking, you get your old instrument back . . . i’ve bought cars i wish that worked that way . . .
