The Mid Atlantic Region of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann will hold their annual Fleadh Cheoil over two days - Saturday, June 3, 2006 and Sunday, June 4, 2006. This is one of two qualifying fleadhanna cheoil in North America, the winners of which are entitled to compete at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, the All-Ireland Fleadh, which will be held in Letterkenny, County Donegal - 25 to 27 August 2006.
We expect several hundred visitors to the 2006 fleadh, most of whom will take home a copy of our fleadh journal (a pdf copy of which is available online at www.nyfleadh.com ). The journal contains lists of competitors, prior year winners, and other content of interest. Please consider advertising in our journal as an effective way to support both the fleadh and your business - it is very affordable. Those of you with CD’s to sell, concerts to promote, and also our instrument makers and repairers, should find this an attractive advertising vehicle - you are reaching a focused demographic here.
We “close the book” on May 15, so act now!
You can visit the fleadh website at http://www.nyfleadh.com and learn about how to advertise in our journal at http://www.nyfleadh.com/Journal.htm
You can also help by forwarding this note to anyone you think might be interested. Feel free to email me with any questions. I hope all of youho are in the area that weekend will come to Pearl River to the fleadh.
All the best,
Tom
