I just got my motor home (very humble almost seedy 1972 motorhome) set up in the hey barn of my ex bosses farm and decided to go into town and get a postoffice box. Guess what. I cant get one. In order to get one I have to come up with a rent reciept and a utility bill or some other proof of where I live. I also found out that come Jan. when I will have to renew my drivers licence I will have to come up with the same documentation. Now I admit I live on the fringe and that horses are my life and therefore I chase that type of work around but I would like to be able to legaly drive my rig and recieve mail now and then. I know its a little thing but more and more little things are creeping into my life since fear and paranoia have become the standard of the day. It is getting harder and harder to stay out of the main stream. Ah well, tis a beautiful sunny day out, guess Ill go hug a horse.

You know though, that’s been the case here for a long time…well before 9/11/01. When we first moved to California, we had to prove residency both to get a P.O. box and to get drivers licenses (not to mention register to vote and get library cards).
Here’s the deal…even if your boss isn’t charging you rent to park your RV, offer to pay him something like a dollar a month and get him to give you a receipt. That’s usually all it takes.
Holy smokes Redwolf I havent talked to you in so long. Nice to see you are still around. Guess I got so hung up on the flute thing I forgot who and what got me here. Likewise Jerry, good to see ya. Man oh man Jerry it seems you got famous with your tweaking and all. I play only two whistles now a days when I need a whistle fix. Your Shaw high D and this incredable C which I have no idea about who made or when but it is tuneable and has an incredable sound. In fact I have a digital camera now so maybe I should take a picture of it and try to figure out how to post it. I still have a hankerin for a tweaked Shaw low F so I guess I better talk to you about that. Anyway it sure is neet that you were able to put your talent for tweaking to good use. I guess I should get over to the whistle forum and see whats going on. I imerssed myself in the flute a couple of years ago and it has taken over my life, not that I am getting anywhere with it, but on occation I think I can play it. Most challanging instrument I have ever attempted. Anyway, take care my friend I will be talking to you soon.

That was made for me by my friend Zubivka who was over on the whistle forum. Haven`t seen him around for a while. We were talking about things we used to do and I was telling him about the grand time I had flying an old Ryan ST around with its 5 cylinder Kenner and all and he came up with this avatar for me. Do not stare at the smiley, Paul is a frenchman and there is no telling what sablimanal message he may have inserted into that spinner. Jeez I wounder what he is up to now. Truely a great guy.
