Just spotted
Beautifully restored Pratten Perfected flute serial number 6259 dated to approx 1861. It is in excellent playing condition. Chris Wilkes, the renowned flutemaker did a superb job. The pitch has been lowered to modern standard pitch by the fitting of an ivory sound hole insert. It is also extremely easy to blow compared with other Prattens. A real gem of an instrument.
