Silent Auction of Uilleann Pipes: A half set of “flat” pipes in C by renowned makers Koehler & Quinn, fitted with a Mac Harg bag and Goodacre bellows will be offered at a silent auction during the Pipers’ Gathering weekend. Now is your chance to own a top-class instrument without having to endure years of waiting. The pipes will be displayed in their unassembled state and will be tied into the bag to suit the requirements of the eventual purchaser. PROSPECTIVE BUYERS MUST ATTEND THE PIPERS’ GATHERING WEEKEND TO BID ON THESE PIPES.

The Board of the Pipers’ Gathering Inc. wishes to express its gratitude to Koehler & Quinn, The Wee Piper (Michael Mac Harg), and Julian Goodacre for their generous support of the Pipers’ Gathering.

Pipers Gathering CD: Last year we produced a CD entitled “The Pipers Gathering: Live from North Hero”. This is a collection of 19 of the choicest concert performances from the 2001-2002 events. The cost is $15 plus $4.45, shipping and handling. Check our web site for track listing and performers as well as reviews and comments from purchasers. There is a line on the registration form if you would like to order a copy. Some remaining copies of the CD may be available at the event.

Volunteers Needed: We need volunteers to help us run things as smoothly as possible. Volunteers are needed for transporting artists, helping at the information desk, helping with CD/T-shirt sales during the day, assistance at the evening concerts and other tasks. If you are willing to help, please check the box on the registration form.

Continued Support: Those who were at the concerts last year may remember this mantra. “What is the greatest nation in the world? DONATION!” It costs over $20,000 to bring you the Pipers’ Gathering weekend each year, only half of which is covered by registration fees. The balance is raised through grants, donations, sales of T-shirts, CDs, etc. Did I say donations? Please consider a donation to help ensure that one of your favorite weekends of the year will still be there for you in the future.
