Hello,
I had repadded the keys of an old Meyer- flute with elk- lether pieces, it did work well on the closed six keys.
Unfortunately the two lower open keys couldn’t been padded tight enough for being played.
I tried different materials, but none did work.
Has someone a hint what stuff will be smooth and airtight enough to be a sealing pad for those keys ?
( just came about this question, seeing Jem’s post in Facebook concerning service on Meyer -flutes )
