Hey, everybody, thank you so much! You make me want to cry. Thanks for all your good wishes! It has been a good day so far. My husband, who last year did not do a thing for my birthday, has remedied this mistake and made it a nice birthday morning. No whistles (sigh–was really hoping for a Dixon low D) but other things I have been wanting. Best wishes from good people like you make it even better! Thank you all! And thanks, Martin, for starting this thread. You guys are the best!
Taking a French class, but too lazy to go look up the words:
“Bon anniversaire”
What about the difference between ‘bon film’ and ‘bonne soiree’ or ‘bonne journee’ (accents of course)?
Is 'anniversaire a feminine word? If so, then ‘bonne anniversaire’ would be correct.
But since I don’t know if the whistler in Luxembourg who pointed out a spelling correction, maybe I am way off because maybe whistler in Lux. is a French speaking person fluently and knows all about it?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
