The NAMM show is coming to Anaheim, California on January 16-19. This is THE convention for musical instrument manufacturers and dealers. http://www.namm.com/
Two of us local small business owners want to go to NAMM and need a couple of tickets. The membership price is a little steep for us but members get ttickets for free. I’m asking if someone out there is a NAMM member, that doesn’t need their tickets. Could you part with your unneeded tickets to help us out?

Do you just need to get into the exhibition hall for a day?
My company always gets the full number of exhibitor badges (more than we have in the booth) but we usually wind up lending them a day at a time, since there are always a bunch of folks who want to get in for a day.

Gibson? Mando…? Could it be? Are you also a “string slinger?” I just got my first mandolin this weekend from the other dealer who wants to go to NAMM. He builds custom guitars and I service guitar amps, effects and other musical electronics including recording studios and computers for music. Oh, and of course, whistle.

Only if you can get me in. Cost me $100 year before last, not something that as a non-profit org. can I repeat. Keep in touch, though, there might be a session with some out-of-towners in for NAMM.

We are exhibitors as Clarke UK/USA (and Copeland of course). We have six in our party and the UK bunch as well. We don’t get tickets that I know of but passes when we check in. I’m not aware of any spares.

Wow someone from Rigel Mandolins. I currently have a Weber Bridger that I love, but drool over Rigels. So cool to have a person who is involved with Rigels on the board. The pictures that I see of what I call the chocolate colored finish are just beautiful.
So y’all are really “real” people and not gods come down from Olympus. Wow!

A woman in our session has a Rigel mandolin and it’s the most gorgeous instrument of any sort I have ever seen. I deeply regret that she’s been playing her mandola a lot lately just because I miss that chocolate & caramel finish - fabulous!
