The Nikon Coolpix 995 is a great little camera and has tons of features I’ll probably never understand. Personal preferences aside, DPREVIEW.COM (Digital Photography Review) is a great source for head to head comparisons based on a variety of features–size, price, # pixels, etc.
Be well,

I have an old 2.1 megapixel sony cybershot DSC-S50 I’m pretty happy with.
Peripherally related, if you like digital cameras, but don’t like the quality of printer-made pictures, there’s a website called http://www.dotphoto.com that’s pretty neat. You upload your pics, and they send you (for about 29 cents a pic) what appear to be normal photographs on Kodak paper (as if done by a regular camera). The quality is superb. I send pics to my grandmother this way…just order and have them drop shipped straight to her.
