OT: A Past Post With Cats

Okay… Reeeeaaallly off topic here but,

Within the last year or so there was a post, can’t remember what the thread was about, probably one of those ones that just wandered off topic into silly land. But someone posted some um, odd cartoon like cat art… and a link to the artists website with more cat art like it. Things like shooting cats out canons or them flying away on balloons or something like that. Art that those with a, um… not so tender feelings for cats might come up with. I bookmarked it but my computer crashed and I lost the link and now can’t find where it was posted or the site or anything. Searched with no luck.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Link please… anyone?

I remember that thread. It got pretty strange. I don’t think it was the Cutie Pie thread. Not sure now which thread it was, alas.

I don’t remember that thread, but it sounds like the book “101 Uses for a Dead Cat” by Simon Bond.

Maybe somebody posted pictures from the book and had to pull them because of copyright violation…

It’s on page eight of that “Find The Hidden Bird” thread, in a post by TubeDude. A picture of two guys playing “kitty bagpipes”. Find the source of the picture, follow the link and find Skip Morrow’s “I Hate Cats Collection”. My favorite is the long picture that shows a factory machine where you stick the cat in one end, and it comes out as a dog at the other end.

I happen to love cats. But in a plagued sort of way. Have three that live in a cage or outside(peeing issues) and one loose in house. We settled on a rental house purchase Wednesday. Came back Monday to show tenants and change the lock…but too late to avoid someone with the old key dumping 2 cats in our house! Some people are troglodytes. I suspect the guy we bought it from. I fed 'em and will lure them outside when I go to do a lease signing in a couple days.

What’s all this fuss over cats? They can be just as friendly and loyal as a dog if you raise them right. And my cat doesn’t get frightened by my whistle playing. I have been barked at and growled at just for hitting the second octave E.
