Online source for tunes with ornamentation?

I’ve seen some sites like thesession.org for tunes, but none of the music seems to have notated ornamentation. I’d like to be able to study tunes with and without ornamentation. Are there any sites with ornamented sheet music (preferably with clips too  )?

Something strange just happened. Peter Laban posted a reply and now that reply is gone. Anyway, he recommended a visit to Brother Steve’s Pages.

My question: Do those squiggly lines atop some notes (for example, over the second note in Maid On The Green) mean that they should be rolled or played as a roll?

In the case of the transcription you are referring to, they are to show that a roll is what is being played in the recording transcribed - not that you should do anything in particular.

Thank you!!!

I found this site to be very interesting:

http://www.rogermillington.com/tunetoc/index.html

But those transcriptions and tunes taught me a few things I didn’t expect. Like:

  1. Micho ornaments different notes each time through.

  2. Micho’s playing sounds simple the first time through, and sounds more and more complex each time after that.

  3. The ornaments are just a small part of the majic going on there and that I’m better off putting away the transcription and trying to play the tunes I know with a similar lift (bounce?).

I’m probably only the millionth person to try to imitate Micho and end up eating humble pie. I sure love to listen to him, though.
