That may be good for getting a few specific tunes, but getting the actual O’Neill’s, the yellow version, is really a good investment. It has THOUSANDS of tunes and can be very useful.

I didn’t count them all myself, but the owner of the site claims to have 4725 tunes available in five or six different formats each. I’m sure I’d like the book too but in the meantime this seems like a good substitute.

Interesting to see Allan’s Irish Fiddler there, too. We used it for nearly ten years as the basis of the “standard repertoire” for beginners here in Brussels. I had no idea that it went back to 1902. It’s still an essential source for anyone looking for session classics, and IMHO more useful for the average ITM practitioner than O’Neill’s, notwithstanding the latter’s historic value.
