I’m thinning my collection and parting with a few whistles I don’t play much anymore. The best of the lot (by far) is a PVC low D from Mack Hoover. I was reluctant to part with it, but since I got an Alba low D a few months ago, I find I’m hardly playing the Hoover. (Of course, I still have a Mack Hoover low G–no way I’ll ever part with that one!)
The collection contains a few Generations, as well as a Clarke, a Feadog, and an Oak (bought that one a few months ago with the encouragement of a few Oak enthusiasts on this forum, but I never really took to it).
Auction ends next Saturday afternoon.
