I know of only one person in St. Paul Minnesota who has Ginsgerg C… Hmmmmmmmm…
Well St. Paul and Minneapolis are both represented by Ginsburg Cs.
Then it must be… in Minneapolis. ![]()
Hey, I’m not sellin’ mine! No way. Besides, that’s a 2005 set, there. Mine was made in 1975, as Mr. Ginsberg informed me.

Just to mention on behalf of the seller that there are to be some detail changes pending on the webpage, including typo corrections (such as “chanting reed” and the like; that’s what you get when nonpipers host these things) and the addition of closeup pix of the set’s parts. At the time of this post the changes have not been completed, but a swift rectification is hoped for.
I’d like to add that I’ve heard this set, and I liked its sound very much. Brightish chanter tone for a narrow bore, regs well in tune, and mellow-sounding drones. Although the seller is quite satisfied with the Ginsberg, he already plays a vintage concert set and relies on it heavily, and has decided that one set’s enough for him.
I have no commercial interest in this sale.
bumpity-bump
Changes are up (although the typos remain, no big deal there). I’m informed that the “buy-it-now” price is no longer in effect; the person conducting the sale is unable to delete the “buy-it-now” price posted on the page for some reason, so I’ve been asked to pass this along. Also, I’m informed that the reserve price is appreciably lower, now.
Contact the seller-as-listed for confirmation of the above, and for details.
Check out the auction pic. That’s the bench that Curly was sitting on. He was sitting on the open case but it was airbrushed out. CASE CLOSED!
