olive seeds

You never know…somebody probably believes it.

Probably. There are self-proclaimed Jedi out there, after all.

Nah - I’m a mere paduan!

Now, for those of you who are among the enlightened (i.e., those of you who saw the Popeye movie), there is another answer: Swee’pea is a foundling! Olive Oyl and Popeye discovered him in a basket with a note.

What this means theologically, I have no idea!

Redwolf

Who gets to be the pope?

Popeye does have the word “pope” in his name…

… and is correctly pronouned “Pope-ee”.

Doesn’t everybody say it that way?

He’s Moses! :boggle: Now I’m really confused!

Didn’t there used to be an old lady named Moses who started painting at the age of 90 and became a world famous artist? Or am I making all of that up?

Grandma Moses: http://www.benningtonmuseum.com/grandmagallery.html

Ha ha ha! I am so glad she was real. I remember seeing a picture of her and her story but I couldn’t remember anything about her.

The phrase “Grandma Moses Gallery” is so cool to say.

It means he’s Moses.
Oh. I am so behind.

That’s right Grandma: Moses.

Perhaps you could PM me with directions. We’ll be there by early afternoon on Friday so it would give us something to check out.

Olive seeds are seedy.

I’d like to add that Popeye had red hair though it was rarely seen due to his hat.

I also knew a woman who looked like Alice the Goon. Sad really.

That museum and gallery is about 45 min from where I live. If you’re ever passing through southern Vermont, it’s worth a look. Robert Frost is buried in the cemetary right next door.
