What a coincidence. we’re going on vacation too this week. Except we’re going to Mansfield Missouri then to Mt. View Arkansas then up to Hannibal for a river boat ride and do the river tourist thing.
The last time I was in California was 1983. We liked to hang out at Stinson Beach.
While you are in San Fran, if you like seafood/oysters, I highly recommend Hogs Island Oyster Bar…its in the San Fransisco Ferry Building…its only open on Saturdays, though…
We always go direct to the farm for the oysters, though…up by Bodega.
Anyways, enjoy Big Sur, I love that place…I enjoy the Northern redwoods more than the southern ones(less touristy), but the trees are spectacular nonetheless.
