Chris
John Goodman, in Halifax. Great piper and flute player.
Don’t have his current contact info, sorry.
Well, Paddy Keenan is in Lunenburg - right now - this week.
See http://www.boxwood.org/canada_register.html for details.
Get thee over there!
All the best,
Tom
There are a couple of pipers in the Sydney, Cape Breton area. One of the pipers plays in a session on Thursday night at Rollies Warf Pub. I do not remember there names but you could contact: Paul Cranford for their names

Where are you located, Chris?
I’m in Halifax, just got my CJ Dixon practice set two months ago. There are a few of us around, but mostly still in the closet.
John Goodman doesn’t seem to come out much. I’ve only ever seen him play flute/whistle at sessions here. Glen Coolen plays pretty often at the Old Triangle on Tuesday nights though, which is awesome.
I don’t think either of them offer lessons though.

And here’s the Wednesday night slow session website, very pipe friendly: http://users.eastlink.ca/~philjs/
Let me know if you’re in town.
