There is a website somewhere that has one of these in PVC, but I still can’t find it.
very cool stuff mate
Mike Allen makes an “omni-directional” headjoint, which can apparently be adjusted to any angle:
John Hackett plays one:
Making something like that out of wood would be something of a challenge I suspect!
Yes indeed, pretty girls are always worth a look! Shame about the accordion though.

Could this one go attached to some flute instead of the original mouthpiece it came with ?

You’re gas boy.

Yes. In Hackett’s case, he had the headjoint made to fit his Sankyo flute. I doubt it’s “one size fits all”. You’d need to send the flute to the headjoint maker so he could make it an exact fit.

Of coarse if you don’t want all the keys on the flute you can always find an end blown flute like the ney, kaval, xiao, shakuhachi, hocchiku, danso, or quena.

Or something like this?
Actually all other types we know of allready right?
Being the special thing here is the flute mouthpiece - which is special in its way.
I tried playing the Ney once, couldn’t get a sound out of it - just couldn’t.
I guess this idea will fade - If I knew how to construct flutes - i might’ve start trying making an irish flute like those flutelabs.
