Hello, I’ve been playing Tin Whistle for a few months now and love it! I have a few cheapies - Folk Generation D, Little Black D and a Feadog Black D. I like the Feadog best. I’m thinking of getting a Feadog Pro D and also a Burke(brass session D) in the new year. Thanks for the Forum, I look forward to talking about Whistles with you guys.
Welcome! Of the cheapies I’ve played, I like the feadog the most as well.

I have a Feadog that I put a tweaked Generation red head on and it’s my current favorite high whistle. I have several whistles made by Generation and Waltons but the Feadog has the most accurate tuning through the entire scale. I can’t say for the Clarkes…I’d stick with the Feadogs for an inexpensive whistle.
In my very brief whistling experience so far…Clarke yes, Walton no. 
Clarke yes, Walton also yes. Well depending on which one. Little Black D’s are awesome in my opinion.
Waltons depend I think. My mellow C and guinness D are both flat with the head pushed all the way in, and the bell notes are relatively sharp. Otherwise they’re wonderful, though, and I can usually play them into tune if I think about it.
No experience with Clarke Original. Sweetone seemed fine to me. My old blue-top Generation D was fine in terms of tuning; my red-top Bb is iffy but I can usually lip it into tune.
Feadogs are excellent in my experience. Overall I like them best, though I may be starting to like the tone of a Generation better.
