Though I’m in awe of Nano’s prolific posting, I think that his diddling is none of our business. (Though if he keeps count of his diddling, the man needs help!).

Yep!! Absolutely brilliant you are. Oh dear…I hadn’t thought about a prize. Uh, maybe Nano can give you some of that lutefisk chili he’s givin’ out for prizes.
I’ll use buddhu’s post as a conduit to address you all: yes, I need to get a life. I’ll think about it after I work on that top-shelf Jemmie’s that dublinn so generously offered.
Just to remind you that a post count like the one I accrued has been something of an embarrassment to me, but at 7K, you just gotta get over it and own it. Besides, it’s a testament to how much you guys have affected and enriched my life. Seriously. I don’t care what people say about socialization in the virtual: this is indeed one form of many available for socializing, and it’s akin to writing letters, after all. There’s something to be said for that.
And actually, I DO get out, no worries. I just have a LOT of downtime at work lately. The auto sales/service industry sucks out loud these days. sigh

FWIW, the gig drought seems to be easing in the eastern Midwest, so maybe a little green rain is coming your way next.
