Hey, why not…

Cheers,

Michael

 Good for you! But why not “ELBOPIPR”?

Cool. I was thinking of CLDBLWR. Yes? No? :smiling_imp:

Illinois Piper?

Joe, perhaps DRYBLWR

Brian, that’s “Illinois Central”, and you’d never fit it on a license plate.

How about: 7REEDS, 2FARGON, FLAT8VE, 4KEYED, NOBK D, GURGLE D, or HI ROYCE.

djm:“Joe, perhaps DRYBLWR”

…naw, it would make people think I’m a hairdresser…which there isn’t anything wrong with, I hasten to add.

What are the us rules for license plates?

I think it varies from State to State.
Florida allows 7 digits (no spaces) no profanity or obvious suggestive phrases.

Yes, now you be “iln”.

How hip-hop of you.

I like it Michael. Now, we just gotta get you into a BMW :sunglasses:

I’ll never own a BMW. I just recovered from 5 years of driving a Mercedes, tired of those surprise $2000 repair bills… Now I’m driving an Infiniti i30 and am loving it. Its pretty much a Nissan Maxima with nicer everything.

Glands:"Now, we just gotta get you into a BMW "

Naw, a blue and white Dodge Viper!

Michael:“Now I’m driving an Infiniti i30 and am loving it.”

How about a blue and white Dodge Viper?..go on, you know you really want to.

I think I can say with some certaintly, that I’ll never own a Dodge anything…

Good man yourself.

In New York you can check on the DMV website at http://nysdmv.com/personalplates/default.html

This link will search the database to see if what you want is available.
ILNPIPR and UILNPIPR are available!

I’ll never go back to that 89 Dodge Colt. Got tired of all those surprise 50 dollar repair bills. (That last water pump cost me almost 49 bucks!) Now I drive an 88 Plymouth Voyager and I can put the whole band, gig bags, instruments and PA system in the back. It’s like a K-car only with a van body.

Royce

I had a neighbor back in Minnesota who drove a K-car, must’ve been in 97. Surprisingly, it still looked new and still ran…not bad for a late 70’s model el cheapo special.
