Muiris Ó Rócháin, director, one of the founders of Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy and driving force behind it, has died.
On so many levels, the loss is inestimable.
I’m sure the thousands of people who have attended the school over the years will be very sad to hear the news of his passing .The school has helped so many over the years, long may it continue in memory of Muiris O Rochain.

I’m sorry to hear this sad news. Muiris always had time to say hello when he saw us in Miltown. Our condolences to his family and friends. Down in Ballyferriter we used to stay at a campsite where the owner, P.T., a feisty character, used to tell us how he and Muiris used to fight as young men, but became good friends later
