Both auctions are UK only.

The black MK Pro just went for a bid of approximately $245 USD. A great deal for anyone looking for an MK. There is still a green MK up for auction, nice looking whistle.
OP states the auction is “UK Only”’ not sure if that means only folks from the UK can bid on the item?

You could bid on it and maybe find out what “only” means. ![]()
Means the seller only wants to ship to the UK…
Best wishes.

That’s one of the reason I always look for your posts! ![]()
Steve,
That is exactly what I was unsure of. I have never placed a bid on Ebay for an item outside of the U.S.A. I do have a friend who lives in the UK, so she could place bids for me and ship the item to me.

Or you could place the bids and have the whistle shipped to the UK address—should you be the lucky winner… (Might let the seller know this ahead of time just to be sure there won’t be any problems.)
Best wishes.

It seems to be the time for rare ebay whistle sales - 3 Harper whistle auctions.
Harper D/C set
The 2 classics in D are non tunable.
All of the auctions are post to UK only.

Steve,
My post was more of a hypothetical. I am not looking to purchase the remaining MK. I was just unaware of the limitation as it pertains to shipment. Nice to know with regard to future auctions though.
Thanks for the “only” explanation.
Cheers,
Cayden
This UK only is a big problem for those outside the UK. And for sellers. I ask them about it and see if they can add shipping to France when I want to bid. Most don’t even realize they have it to UK only because they didn’t see where to add international postage. A few don’t want to mess with international buyers, which I can see because some countries such as Italy are known for unreliable postal deliveries. In any case the sellers probably get less money by excluding international buyers. I imagine this is good for UK residents. ![]()
