You keep asking stimulating questions , Jim . It is the only way forward .People shouldn’t mind honest opinions or enquires ,and shouldn’t get touchy ,not that anybody has on this thread .
When I see the enormous amount of time and effort that Mr Wilkes puts into adjustments and into the meticulous finishing of his hand wrought keys the flutes seem ridiculously cheap .
Yes, Jim, nothing wrong with your question. I got to it the wrong way, i did one of my famous wisecracks. The question of pricing is very complex and also touchy, and with many makers in the site participating or lurking, this may not be a good forum to discuss it.
