Dear friends,
This fall I will offer a range of small group tin whistle classes at my studio in mid-Manhattan. Ten-week sessions include Ear Training and Repertoire Building, Intro to Session Tunes, and a class on translating tunes to the tin whistle from various other instruments. This last class will have a particular emphasis on where to breath, always an issue when the source of the tune is not a wind instrument.

I also offer private lessons on the tin whistle, uilleann pipes, Irish flute and low whistle. I teach all levels, from absolute beginners through advanced. My teaching hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 to 10:00 PM. Please contact me for details.
SAVE THE DATE: Ornamentation Boot Camp, a one-day total immersion workshop for tin whistle, flute and low whistle players on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 1 PM at Manhattan’s Irish Arts Center.
