Anyone happen to know the name of the last tune played in the set on Track 5 of Lunasa’s debut CD?? They call the track “Bealtaine”.
Anyway, if anyone happens to know…Thanks!

You should have mentioned that they list it as “Gan Anim” – I knew that all the tune names were listed inside the liner notes, and so just assumed you were asking a stupid question because you were working from a bootleg copy. Instead, it turns out to be a great and intersting question.
Hmmm… it sounds really familiar (more familiar than just being on this album would justify, as this is the Lunasa album I listen to the least), and I can more or less play along with the recording, but I don’t have a name for it. (Update: I’ve listened to it a couple more times, and I’ve definitely got it now.)
irishtune.info doesn’t list this album. I asked the Fiddler’s Companion (www.ceolas.org) to give me all the entries with “Lunasa” in the text – a fantastic set of tunes popped up, but not this one.
I’ll try to remember to ask around the local sessions to see if anyone has a name for it.
Figured it out myself. The fact they list it as a single jig threw me off – of course it’s a slip jig. From the Fiddler’s Companion:
BOYS OF BALLYSADARE/BALLYSODARE, THE [1] (Buacailli Baile-Easa-Dara). Irish, Slip Jig (9/8 time). G Major. Standard.
