In another thread, someone suggested adding a neck strap or thumb rest to address hand fatigue/pain from playing a low whistle.
Where would one find either of these things - and more to the point, can they be attached to any brand of whistle - without permanent marking or drilling the whistle?
I made a temporary one with a picture hook and a length of string. String round neck, hook under end of whistle. Worked well!

And for a ready-made solution, try a tenor or baritone sax neck strap, hooked to the bell end of the whistle. No modifications needed.
