Low-tech low C published

Hello, I’ve updated my page to include a diagram for a low C whistle. I was skeptical when somebody asked for it, but after three attempts I’ve obtained a very good one. It sounds just wonderful, and while it does require the piper’s grip, it’s not harder to play than the average low D.

There’s also a clip here:

I should be able to make more clips in the next few days.

Enjoy the diagram and make your own. Or, I will make and sell one for you. Please consider ordering one, my bike was stolen last week and I need some money.

Sounding good, Guido!

Sounds good Guido! 610 mm / 24 inches long. It’s getting to where I’d not only need a piper’s grip, but a taller stool on which to sit.

Guido, that sounds quite nice. Good work!

Sorry about your bike. I wish I lived a closer you could have one of mine.

Cheers,

Feadoggie

Sorry to hear about your bike. Well done on the Low C!

Great sound Guido - and from a 50 cent piece of PVC piping yet! How’s the new Low D coming on?

Sorry to hear about the bike. Everyone should have a Gonzato “Low Tech” so if you get professional marketing advice for your whistles you’ll be able to afford a new bike every time yours is stolen - or better yet, new Vespas…

All the best,

Keith.

Thank you all for your appreciation and kind words!

I think I’m not entitled to talk about my own work, but if you pardon me, I’d say that my lows now are very, very nice. I must say a huge “thank you!” to Jem. After reviewing my low D, we exhanged e-mail and he suggested a couple of tricks to improve my design. I’ll add these very simple tricks to my page in the next few days.

Now, I’m a convert: I like lows, and I play my low D all evenings…

Can we get a sound clip of your latest Low D Guido, when the new tweaks have been added?

Onwards and upwards…

Keith.
