The wife and I went to a Bonnie Rideout ( Scottish Fiddle ) concert in Goshen, Indiana - a concert which included Jerry O’Sullivan as a guest musician. Bonnie announced that Jerry was in the hospital and apparently seriously ill. Can anyone else confirm or deny?
Please let it be ‘deny’…Jerry’s a great guy and musician. Prayers all around.
I had heard the same thing and as many good thoughts as possible should be sent his way.
This is sad news indeed. He’s one of the nicest guys around, here’s hoping he recovers quickly.
Just off the phone with Jerry who, a few moments ago, was on stage at Connelly Hall In Villanova College doing sound checks with Mick Maloney. Jerry did spend a few days in the hospital for tests after a fever got the better of him but came out Thursday. He regretted missing his apperance with Bonnie Rideout. He appeared on her show last week in New Hampshire – a full house and a standing ovation for Bonnie, Jerry and her group at the end. Jerry sends regards to all.
That is super and thanks for following up!
Indeed! This is great news. We’re greatly relieved! Again, Thanks!
Jerry will be teaching tin whistle and flute classes at the Tara Circle in Yonkers, NY.
Classes start on Monday Feb 23 for whistle and Flute class is on Wed Feb 26. yes that’s next week.
I know everyone is aware of Jerry talent on the Pipes but he is equally skilled on the Whistle and Flute.
And can you imagine getting 10 lessons from Jerry for $125.00. He is doing his part with the Tara Circle to help spread and keep our music alive.

Just found out that Jerry will not be teaching this spring at the Tara Circle.
I am sending this email today to let you know that I will not be teaching the Spring semester whistle class at Tara since I would likely have to cancel or postpone too many of the classes this time around. Thanks again for your prayers and concern.
All the best and God bless,
Jerry O’Sullivan
