I've decided that Nano is right...

Excellent album, I’ve had it for years…

Don’t get me started on Vassar…

Slan,
D.

It’s a deal. They wait-listed my kid, you know. Luckily she didn’t want to go there anyway. But the library’s gorgeous.

So are the riffs on the E-string in the third position..

Slan,
D.

I prefer a good riff on a G-string…

You’re not wrong, Missy. You’re just the elephant in the living room.

I’m glad that you told us, Nano. I was up all night wondering if you were or not. I feel so much better now

Me, too.

I heard Vassar Clements at a tiny venue here in Evanston a long time ago and after the incredible show, as he was walking away from the “stage,” he put his hand on my shoulder as he passed me as I was enthusiastically applauding. I’ve never heard a fiddler in that style that I have loved more. Eye- and heart-opening, and that simple gesture has meant something to me over the years.

You do not have multiple user accounts, do you??

Multiple accounts? I barely know how to turn on a computer. Does that answer your question?

I’ve got a DVD of the Grisman Garcia thing that is excellent.

Thanks for the reminder on Old and In The Way. I saw it at Barnes and Noble a couple weeks ago. I think I’ll hop over today and see if it’s still there.

I saw Vassar a few years ago. Great fiddling. Unique. Too bad I don’t know anything about fiddle playing or I’d probably appreciate it even more.

Or your socks . . .

You’ve got to whisper binary sweet-nothings into its microphone and touch the keyboard just right. Turns 'em on every time. Not that I’ve tried it, mind you.

So how do you say, “Hey, baby. What’s your sign?” in binary?

1? or 11111111? if you are verbose

You just gotta point a finger…

Wasn’t hard was it?

Slan,
D.

you just gotta point a finger…< and be sure to lift the pinky when raisng the glass.
