Why stop with a long and short F, when you can also have a long and short Cnat and a long and short Bb. I really think he should of also made a long G# also, just to make it fair…

Note “Long D#.” Yes, that (low) D#. Oh, for the sake of art! This is one reason makers switched to pin mounts - blocks and thicker keys to fit in same add up in weight pretty quickly. Not that they didn’t make these forest of keys in block mounts as well.
I have an old Italian flute (found on Craig’s List!) with duplicate everything except D# - mine does have a Tolou F key - opens a little hole underneath F# to sharpen that note when played piano.
