There’s a PDF document that I must print. It has a very small writing, so I move the text size up to 150% and print, but it still comes out very very small.
Is there a way for me to get it to print larger so that it’s easier to work with?

I’m not an expert, but I believe you have to purchase Adobe Acrobat to be able to alter the document’s settings like font size. If you are using the free Acrobat reader, changing the font size just changes the on-screen display as far as I can tell, not the actual font print size when printing.

Hmmm…thanks.
If it’s not too long, try the following:
Increase the viewed font size like you did already, then use the Print Screen to capture the Adobe Reader window as a simple image.
Open up MSPaint (or some other image editing program), and simply Paste your screenshot into the program, and print from there.
If you have MANY pages, that will be painful, but it should still work.
If you are really stuck, Cranberry, try using the snapshot tool, and pasting the image into something else. If you expand it you might have to print (say) four pages for each one of your document, but at least it will be a size you can read.
I realise this won’t be much help for a 200 page document…
Nuts - ffyfer beat me to it!
Thanks again everybody. It’s a 1 and 1/2 page document. I will try that. How do I get to the print screen?
Use the ‘zoom-in tool’ to enlarge the text.
Click the printer icon.
Under ‘Print Range’ select ‘Current view’
Click ‘OK’ and print only the enlarged area your are viewing on the screen and not the entire page.
Cranberry… did it work?
go to www.adobe.com and download the 30 day free trial of acrobat and edit it to your heart’s content.
Oh, I didn’t see this. Yes, I think it worked.* Thank you!!
*I managed to get it printed out in large font, I just can’t remember exactly how I did it, since I tried a bunch of different ways. ![]()
